JSW MG Motor India announces the launch of the Windsor Inspire Edition, unveiled by Shri Nitin Gadkari

JSW MG Motor India on Thursday launched the limited-edition Windsor Inspire Edition to commemorate one year of its best-selling electric vehicle, the Windsor, which has crossed 40,000 units in India. Unveiled at the residence of Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways Shri Nitin Gadkari, the edition features a striking Pearl White and Starry Black dual-tone exterior, 18-inch all-black alloy wheels with rose gold cladding, and premium Sangria Red and Black leather interiors with 135-degree recline aero lounge seats.

Shri Gadkari lauded the initiative, highlighting India’s growing electric mobility sector. “Clean mobility is essential for our environment and positions India as a global leader in sustainable innovation,” he said. JSW MG Motor India Managing Director Anurag Mehrotra described the Inspire Edition as a tribute to the company’s customers and the country’s EV movement.

The Windsor has witnessed strong demand, with local dealerships reporting over 500 bookings in the first week of launch. Customers have responded positively to the BaaS pricing model and the advanced personalization options, including Skylight Infinity View roofs and wireless illuminated sill plates, reflecting the city’s increasing shift toward sustainable urban mobility. Bookings for the limited 300-unit edition opened today, with deliveries commencing on October 15. The Windsor Inspire Edition is priced at ₹16.64 lakh (ex-showroom) and offers a running cost of ₹3.9/km under the Battery-as-a-Service model.
