Xiaomi India has expanded its smartphone portfolio with the launch of the REDMI Note 15 Special Edition (SE), targeting India’s fast-growing mid-premium segment with a mix of design, performance and AI-led features. The device features a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 3200 nits, housed in a slim 7.35mm body weighing 178g and offered in three colour variants.
Powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, the smartphone integrates a 50MP AI dual rear camera and a 20MP front camera, supported by tools such as AI Erase, AI Sky and AI Reflection Removal. It is backed by a 5800mAh battery with 45W fast charging, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, AI noise cancellation, and 5G connectivity. The device also includes Google Gemini and Circle to Search for enhanced user interaction.
On durability, the smartphone comes with IP65/IP66 ratings, MIL-STD-810H certification and Titan Solid build, alongside in-display fingerprint and AI face unlock. Xiaomi has committed four years of Android updates and six years of security support.
Priced from ₹24,999, the device will be available at an effective starting price of ₹17,999 with ICICI Bank offers across Flipkart and mi.com from April 7.
