Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has reinforced its operational strength with a digital-first LPG distribution system, ensuring seamless and timely doorstep delivery across India. With 99.2 per cent of bookings now made via IVRS, SMS, WhatsApp and HP PAY, the system processes requests in real time and routes them instantly to the nearest distributor.
Between April 1 and 18, 2026, HPCL delivered over 230 lakh LPG cylinders nationwide, supported by dynamic inventory alignment and demand-based prioritisation. The supply chain is further strengthened by coordination with bottling plants and logistics networks, with over 1,43,129 tankers dispatched to maintain uninterrupted fuel movement.
Data analytics play a key role in forecasting demand, optimising delivery routes and reducing turnaround time, while last-mile teams ensure timely service across urban and remote areas. Deliveries are secured through DAC/OTP-based authentication systems.
HPCL also reported supplying 4.97 lakh 5-kg and over 23,100 2-kg Free Trade LPG cylinders, catering to migrant workers and small vendors. To maintain system integrity, the company conducted 5,482 inspections, 661 raids, filed 41 FIRs, and took action against 131 distributors, including 32 suspensions. HPCL said its LPG network remains fully stocked and responsive, urging consumers to book responsibly to ensure smooth operations.
