Sony has expanded its premium television portfolio in India with the launch of the new BRAVIA 3II series, bringing advanced AI-powered picture processing and next-generation gaming capabilities to Indian consumers. The company said the new lineup is powered by Sony’s XR Processor™, which uses artificial intelligence and cognitive intelligence to analyse visuals and sound in real time for enhanced depth, colour, clarity and contrast.
The BRAVIA 3II series features XR Triluminos Pro™, XR Clear Image, Motionflow XR, Dolby Vision®, Dolby Atmos®, DTS:X® and 4K 120Hz support aimed at delivering an immersive cinematic and gaming experience. Sony said the television also supports HDMI 2.1 features such as Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), along with dedicated gaming optimisations for PlayStation 5 users.
Powered by Google TV, the new series offers access to over 400,000 movies and shows, along with support for Google Assistant, Apple AirPlay 2, HomeKit and Amazon Alexa-enabled devices. Sony also announced that Google Gemini AI support will be introduced through future OTA updates.
The BRAVIA 3II lineup will roll out in multiple screen sizes, starting with 55-inch and 65-inch variants, while larger 75-inch, 85-inch and 100-inch models are expected later this year. The 55-inch model is priced at Rs 1,59,900, with a best buy price of Rs 99,990.
In Guwahati, consumer electronics retailers expect premium television demand to rise as customers increasingly upgrade to larger smart TVs for OTT streaming, sports viewing and console gaming. Dealers said growing disposable income and rising interest in home entertainment systems in Assam are likely to boost demand for high-end television models during the upcoming festive season.
