ASUS has officially announced its return to the Android tablet market with the launch of the ASUS Pad (T3201). Built to deliver high-end multimedia performance and daily productivity, the premium slate centers around a stunning 12.2-inch 2.8K dual-layer OLED display. The advanced tandem OLED architecture improves screen lifespan and power efficiency while driving a fluid 144Hz refresh rate, 600 nits typical brightness, and full DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. Designed for portable entertainment, the tablet measures just 6.5mm thick, weighs 523 grams, and houses a quad-speaker Dolby Atmos system to provide immersive 360-degree audio.
Under the hood, the ASUS Pad is powered by MediaTek’s 4nm Dimensity 8300 processor, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of expandable UFS 3.1 storage supporting microSD cards up to 1TB. Long-lasting endurance is guaranteed by a massive 9,000mAh battery, which supports 45W fast charging via USB-C to top up from zero to 50 percent in approximately 30 minutes. Out of the box, the device runs Android 16 integrated with Google Gemini features, Circle to Search, and ASUS GlideX for effortless multi-device connectivity. Featuring a durable magnalium alloy frame, 13MP rear and 5MP front cameras, and support for the ASUS Pen 2.0 and detachable keyboards, the ASUS Pad positions itself as a strong contender in the flagship tablet segment.
