Tally Solutions has recognised 12 tax and accounting professionals from Guwahati for their contribution to driving digital adoption and strengthening accounting and compliance practices among micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
The professionals were felicitated at Tally’s ‘Tax and Accounting Titans’ event, which recognised excellence across three categories — Accounting Maestro, Emerging Star and Tech Innovator. Accounting Maestro honoured professionals with more than 15 years of experience serving MSMEs, Emerging Star recognised GST practitioners with less than five years of practice, while Tech Innovator acknowledged professionals leveraging modern technology to improve client outcomes.
The awardees were felicitated in the presence of CA B.L. Purohit, Founder and Managing Partner, B L Purohit and Co. and member of ICAI’s Direct Tax Committee, and Kamlesh Kumar IRS, Assistant Commissioner, CGST, Guwahati.

Guwahati’s expanding MSME ecosystem is emerging as an important growth driver for Northeast India. Investments in industrial infrastructure, logistics and connectivity, alongside rising activity in food processing, tourism, handloom, handicrafts and agri-based industries, are creating stronger demand for digital accounting and compliance solutions. Improved market access and support for startups and MSMEs could further accelerate technology-led business growth in the city.
