Godrej Agrovet names Anushree Singh as CHRO to drive people strategy and future-ready growth

Godrej Agrovet Limited on Tuesday announced the appointment of Anushree Singh as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), as the farm-to-protein platform strengthens its organisational capabilities and leadership pipeline to support long-term business growth.

In her new role, Singh will lead the company’s people strategy and work with the leadership team on talent development, organisational transformation and building a high-performance, future-ready workforce. Sunil Kataria, MD & CEO, Godrej Agrovet, said strengthening people and leadership capabilities remains a strategic priority as the company works towards its purpose of crafting abundance through innovation that empowers farmers and nourishes the nation.

Singh brings more than two decades of experience spanning people strategy, culture building, M&A integrations, board management, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, and organisational transformation across industries and geographies. Before joining Godrej Agrovet, she served as CHRO at JSW Energy, supporting its growth and transformation. She has also held leadership positions at Avery Dennison, AkzoNobel and the Aditya Birla Group.

In Guwahati, the appointment could strengthen Godrej Agrovet’sorganisational capabilities as it expands its engagement with agricultural and allied sectors in the Northeast. A stronger talent and leadership framework may help support operational growth and deeper participation in regional farm-linked value chains.

Singh said she looks forward to strengthening the people agenda and fostering a culture where employees can contribute meaningfully to the company’s growth ambitions.
