HYBE will bring its flagship Weverse Con Festival to India for the first time on March 27–28, 2027, with New Delhi hosting the event’s first edition outside South Korea. The move marks a significant step in the South Korean entertainment company’s global expansion strategy and its efforts to tap India’s growing K-pop fan base.
The two-day festival will feature Indian and international artists, immersive live performances, special collaborations, interactive fan engagement, brand activations and cultural experiences. HYBE chief executive Jason Jaesang Lee said the initiative reflects the company’s “multi-home, multi-genre” strategy and commitment to India as a key growth market. Weverse Company president Zooil Yang said the festival would extend the platform’s digital fan engagement into live experiences.
The event is co-produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live, with tickets available exclusively on BookMyShow. Kia India, Mastercard, Project B and Samsung are presenting partners, while NONGSHIM joins as an associate partner. Mastercard cardholders will receive exclusive pre-sale access.
In Guwahati, the festival could create opportunities for travel operators, hotels and other consumer-facing businesses as fans from Assam and the wider Northeast travel to New Delhi. It may also encourage regional brands and entertainment businesses to explore the commercial potential of K-pop fandom.
Separately, HYBE INDIA is conducting nationwide auditions to discover local talent, develop content and build intellectual property with global scalability.
