Tanishq, the jewellery retail brand from the House of Tata, has launched Adhyantara, a new jewellery collection inspired by the cosmos, ahead of Dhanteras. Featuring actress Triptii Dimri, the collection combines contemporary design with traditional Indian craftsmanship, targeting consumers seeking distinctive jewellery during the festive season.
Introduced on October 12, 2026, Adhyantara features more than 100 designs across four categories: Glass Kundan, plain jewellery with stones, plain gold and uncut diamonds. The range includes necklace sets, bangles, finger rings and mangalsutras in 18-carat and 22-carat gold, with designs weighing between 30 and 120 grams.
The collection incorporates sculptural 3D forms, patented 3D Glass Kundan, hand-carved stones, enamel techniques and gemstones such as fire opals and sunstones. Select pieces offer versatile 3-in-1, 4-in-1 and 5-in-1 styling options. Tanishq Chief Marketing Officer Pelki Tshering said the collection celebrates the modern Indian woman through celestial-inspired designs, while Head of Design Garima Maheshwari highlighted its craftsmanship and innovative detailing.
In Guwahati, the launch comes at a crucial time for jewellery retailers, as Dhanteras and Diwali typically stimulate gold purchases, festive gifting and wedding-related demand. The collection’s contemporary designs and multiple styling options could help attract urban consumers looking for differentiated jewellery, although purchasing decisions will also depend on gold prices and household budgets.
To support festive sales, Tanishq is offering ₹301 off per gram on gold jewellery, up to 20% off on making charges and diamond value, and zero deduction on eligible old-gold exchanges of 18-carat purity and above, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
