Dibrugarh lavishly celebrate Lord Jagannath’s eleventh Ratha Yatra on June 27

On June 27, 2025, Dibrugarh will lavishly commemorate Lord Jagannath’s eleventh Ratha Yatra. At 2:00 PM, the procession will start at the Sri Sri Jagannath Cultural Complex in Baugpara, travel to the Shri Aauniati Satra in Kacharbari, and then turn around. The holy chance to pull the holy chariot and ask for blessings will be given to devotees. The Netrotsav and Navajaubana Darshan ceremonies start on June 26. On June 27, Mangal Aarati will be performed early in the morning before the chariot begins, accompanied by Puja rites, Bhog, and Pahandi.

On July 5, however, Suna Besha, Adhara Pana, and Niladri Bije are planned after the Bahuda Yatra. Furthermore, everyone is invited to participate in the heavenly event by Trust Secretary Vijay Khemani and District Commissioner Sri Bikram Kairi. In the meantime, the famous Sri Jagannath Temple in Dibrugarh was getting ready to celebrate its tenth anniversary in style on December 15 of last year. Vijay Khemani, the Temple Trust’s secretary, revealed that the organization had planned a number of special events, including puja, archana, and yagya rites, to mark this milestone.

The temple trust’s trustee, Paban Singh Ghatowar, emphasized the celebrations’ cultural elements during a press conference held on the temple grounds. An interschool cultural dance competition, a riveting performance by well-known Odia singer Shrikar Prasad Padhi, and other enthralling dance shows were all part of the program’s agenda.
