Sony India has launched its second-generation flagship full-frame mirrorless camera, Alpha™ 1 II, combining high resolution, blazing speed, and AI-powered subject recognition for professional creators. Priced at ₹5,79,990, the camera will be available from June 25 across Sony Centers, Alpha Flagship stores, and leading e-commerce platforms.
The Alpha 1 II features a 50.1 MP Exmor RS™ stacked CMOS sensor, powered by a BIONZ XR™ image engine, offering 30fps blackout-free shooting, Real-time Recognition AF, Pre-Capture, and Continuous Shooting Speed Boost. For videographers, the camera delivers 8K 30p and 4K 120p recording with enhanced image stabilization of up to 8.5 stops. Sony has also improved ergonomics, workflow responsiveness, and introduced eco-friendly packaging using sugarcane and bamboo.
