The thriller film featuring Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan has not yet commenced production, yet it has already generated significant excitement among fans. Heightening the anticipation is the involvement of renowned filmmaker Priyadarshan as the director for this project. Furthermore, we have now discovered the title of their upcoming collaboration.
HT City can exclusively confirm that the film has been named Haiwaan, which means ‘beast’ in English. A source informs us, “The team believed this title best represents their subject and accurately reflects Priyadarshan’s vision of it as a thrilling experience. Although there were other potential titles, this one was unanimously agreed upon, considering the roles portrayed by the lead actors.
Saif and Akshay will reunite after their last collaboration in the 2008 film Tashan. Filming is anticipated to commence in August next month, with a theatrical release scheduled for next year.
Akshay has recently completed work on the film Bhooth Bangla, which is also directed by Priyadarshan, while Saif Ali Khan was featured in the film Jewel Thief.
