CEAT, a leading Indian tyre manufacturer, has inaugurated a new premium retail facility in Agartala, Tripura, strengthening its foothold in Northeast India. The company currently operates 18 premium outlets and over 900 retail points across the region.
“The North East, with its unique geographical and infrastructural characteristics, represents immense potential for growth of the tyre industry,” said Arnab Banerjee, MD & CEO of CEAT. The new facility will offer tyres for passenger cars, two-wheelers, and commercial vehicles.
The company plans further expansion into Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya, aiming to enhance its service network amid growing four-wheeler sales in the region. This move is part of CEAT’s strategy to boost local economic growth through dealer partnerships and employment opportunities.
