Flipkart has reaffirmed its commitment to empowering local businesses, artisans, and MSMEs in Assam by expanding its digital commerce ecosystem. Participating in the Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment & Infrastructure Summit 2025, Flipkart announced strategic initiatives aimed at boosting market access, logistics efficiency, and economic inclusion.

Currently, Flipkart supports over 1 lakh sellers from Assam, with 100% year-on-year growth in seller participation. The top-selling categories include women’s ethnic wear, grooming products, men’s footwear, kids’ clothing, and home furnishings. To enhance its supply chain, Flipkart operates fulfillment centers in Palasbari, Balashidhi, and Kochpara, with upcoming hubs in Kamrup and Jalukbari.
