Future Right Skills Network hosts the ITI Ecosystem Summit in the state

The Future Right Skills Network (FRSN), in collaboration with the Directorate of Employment and Training, Assam, has hosted the ITI Ecosystem Summit in the state. The landmark event aimed at reimagining the skilling ecosystem to equip the Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) to meet the demands of a sustainable and future-ready workforce. FRSN, formed in 2019, is a collaborative effort of QUEST Alliance, Accenture, Cisco, J.P. Morgan, and SAP Labs India.

It is driven towards making tomorrow’s youth job-ready.This Summit comes when India’s economic landscape is undergoing a rapid transformation, driven by a surge in demand for skilled labor and a growing emphasis on sustainability and artificial intelligence (AI).

 Industries are now increasingly “green” conscious and looking closely at sustainability additionally, automation, AI, and technological advancement have added to the complexity of the change. Shri. Anant Lal Gyani, IAS. Director, DECT, Govt. of Assam, said, “While the government has introduced various schemes to facilitate this, Summits like these help to develop more strategic and cutting-edge approaches.” Nikita Bengani, Director, Youth Program, Quest Alliance, said, “At this pivotal juncture, we must reimagine our approach to skill development.”
