Godrej Consumer Products Limited (GCPL) has launched ‘WomenAlly: Allies in Action,’ a month-long initiative across Asia, Africa, and Latin America to promote gender inclusion and workplace equity. The initiative recognizes allies—both within and outside the organization—who advocate for fairness and support women in traditionally male-dominated roles.
GCPL is reinforcing its commitment through four key initiatives: a docu-film on breaking gender barriers in sales, manufacturing site panel discussions on allyship, the WomenAlly event at Godrej One, and a Family Outreach Initiative to acknowledge women in sales. Additionally, the company will set next year’s charter for its flagship programs—Godrej ki Shakti, which encourages women in manufacturing, and Aarambh, which empowers women in sales roles.
“We deeply appreciate the allies fostering an environment where women feel valued and empowered,” said Vaibhav Ram, Global Head of HR, GCPL. In emerging FMCG hubs like Guwahati, GCPL’s push for gender inclusivity is reshaping sales and manufacturing roles. With structured mentorship and corporate backing, more women are entering the workforce, challenging traditional norms and enhancing market diversity. Beyond inclusion efforts, GCPL continues to support employees with progressive care policies, including paid parental and elder care leave, flexible return options, and mental wellness programs.
