Godrej Jersey survey reveals milk’s rising popularity as beverage of choice across urban India

On the occasion of World Milk Day, Godrej Jersey released its latest consumer insights report, “Bottoms Up… India Says Cheers to Milk!”, highlighting significant shifts in dairy consumption trends. According to the survey conducted by YouGov, one in three Indians now consumes milk as a beverage, while 50% prefer flavoured milk or enhance taste at home.

The report also finds growing adoption of flavoured milk among Indian parents, with 45% offering it during the day and 44% using it as a refreshment during playtime. Distributors note that consumers are embracing convenient, ready-to-drink dairy options as part of their fast-paced lifestyles.
