In a major boost to the professional haircare sector in Assam, Godrej Professional trained over 200 hairstylists in Guwahati through an immersive event showcasing its new Surreal Collection and Strait Smooth range. The event culminated in a glamorous hair show graced by Assamese actress Barsha Rani Bishaya, who sported one of the collection’s signature looks on the ramp.
The Surreal Collection—India’s first hair colour range inspired by natural wonders—features four vivid looks powered by Colour Play and Dimension technologies. Co-curated by top global stylists, it promises vibrant, ammonia-free shades enriched with keratin and hyaluronic acid. Speaking at the event, Abhinav Grandhi, Business Head of Godrej Professional, said, “By equipping stylists with tools to innovate, we are helping shape the future of hairstyling in India.”
Guwahati, known for its fast adoption of national beauty trends, is poised to benefit significantly. With the Surreal Collection and Strait Smooth solutions now available in leading salons, professionals in the city can offer cutting-edge services aligned with global standards. The event marks the beginning of a nationwide initiative by Godrej Professional to train over 3,000 salons in 11 cities during 2025.
