A thorough preparatory meeting was held at the District Commissioner’s Conference Hall in Haflong in advance of the much awaited Unity March (Padyatra). Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dima Hasao Ripunjoy Kakati (APS), senior officials, department heads, and representatives from all relevant line departments attended the meeting, which was presided over by District Commissioner Munindranath Ngatey (ACS). In order to guarantee the successful and seamless execution of the forthcoming Unity March, the District Commissioner examined a number of plans pertaining to logistics, security, traffic control, and public engagement at the meeting.
