JK Tyre, in collaboration with Adventure-X Fusion Tribe, powered its flagship Indian Racing Festival into Guwahati, transforming the IIT Guwahati campus into a hub of motorsport innovation and youth energy. Despite an unexpected downpour mid-event, the crowd’s enthusiasm remained undeterred as students and motorsport fans witnessed a dazzling showcase of performance and precision.
The event featured high-speed drifting, burnouts with Lexus and BMW cars, stunt performances, and a display by the Indian Formula 4 car, offering a taste of professional open-wheel racing. Young karting talents on Rotax Karts also stole the spotlight with their fearless control and agility.
Graced by Prof. Perumal Alagarsamy, Dean of Student Affairs at IIT Guwahati, the event was lauded for its dynamic engagement. “This was a first-of-its-kind experience for our campus. The connection between motorsports and engineering was truly inspiring,” he said. JK Tyre Motorsport’s Head of Operations, Hari Singh, called the event a “super-fantastic show,” praising the audience’s natural connection with the thrill of the sport.
