Krystle D’Souza revealed that netizens often send her parents clips of her bold scenes from films or web series, which they find extremely disappointing and hurtful.
Actress Krystle D’Souza recently opened up about cosmetic procedures and the effects of online trolling. In a conversation on cosmetic surgery, Krystle clearly stated that her decisions have always been for her own satisfaction, not to please others.
In an interview with Zoom, the actress said, “If you want to get a nose job, get it done yourself. If you don’t want to, don’t. If you have confidence in yourself, don’t. It’s up to you. I have never had surgery, but I have done basic grooming things, like injections, facials, fillers, whatever gives me a little more confidence, I will do it myself. If I look better in my own eyes, it has nothing to do with you, not your money, not your time, not your body. It’s mine. So if I feel confident after that, it’s okay. If you have a problem, that’s your headache. And you’re wasting your time by posting my before and after pictures. If you want, I can give you lots of before and after pictures – I have lots.”
Krystle D’Souza also opened up about the dark side of social media, especially the criticism she receives after doing intimate or glamorous scenes in her films. “I mean, obviously I have done a lot of bold scenes in my films. Then people cut those scenes and send them in my DM, saying obscene and vulgar things. Then I go to their profile and see that they have a wife, a daughter, and then they are doing this. What if I put this screenshot? I can ruin your family right now. Why are you ruining my mental health? How dare you do this? I can send all this that you are sending me to your wife, and then your daughter, think about her future. It is very sad. But then they have their own issues which they have to deal with in their own time.”
Krystal further explained how people sometimes send these videos of her to her parents and this makes her very upset. “It definitely affects me. My parents are also on social media, so they also get such messages, and it hurts me more than them telling me. You tell me, I did that film, I did that scene, why are you telling them? But people know where to strike, so it hurts the most. But now it doesn’t affect me or them because I have become very thin.”
