Global Health Limited, operating under the Medanta brand, has expanded its portfolio in the Delhi-NCR region with the launch of a 550-bed super specialty hospital in Noida. The facility commenced operations today with 300 functional beds, including more than 100 ICU beds and five advanced operating theatres, underscoring Medanta’s strategy of scaling up capacity in high-demand healthcare markets.
The hospital integrates advanced technology such as the Da Vinci Xi Surgical Robot, Artis Icono AI-driven Biplane Cath Lab, 3 Tesla MRI, and 256-Slice Dual Source CT, along with PET Scan and Gamma Camera. It will cater to more than 20 specialties, including cardiology, oncology, neurosciences, gastroenterology, orthopaedics, and transplants. Over 60 senior clinical experts, including 30 directors, have been onboarded to lead operations.
According to Chairman and Managing Director Dr. Naresh Trehan, the facility marks “another milestone in Medanta’s journey of delivering world-class healthcare,” while Group CEO Pankaj Sahni highlighted its role in “setting new benchmarks for accessibility and outcomes.” Industry observers note that advanced hospitals in NCR continue to attract patients from North Bengal and adjoining regions. The Noida launch is expected to strengthen medical travel, reflecting the market’s dependence on large healthcare hubs for tertiary and quaternary care needs.
