The Naga People’s Front (NPF) on Friday conducted the installation and oath-taking ceremony of its Shamator Division of office-bearers for the 2025–2030 tenure at the Cultural Hall, Shamator. Senior party leaders from the NPF central headquarters attended the programme. The oath was administered by M. Rukkimong, Senior Vice President and In-charge of NPF. Shamator Division. Addressing the gathering, party leaders stressed unity, organisational discipline, and grassroots strengthening. S. Keoshu Yimkhiung, Advisor for Youth Resources and Sports, highlighted the role of political leadership in youth development.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and benediction. The party had on Tuesday opened the divisional office in the newly created district of Shamator. NPF secretary general Achumbemo Kikon said the opening of the divisional office reflected the party’s long-term commitment to Shamator. He also noted that NPF has expanded beyond Nagaland, with five MLAs in Manipur and organizational presence in Arunachal Pradesh, with efforts underway in Assam.
