Nissan has reinforced its sustainability roadmap by confirming that all variants of the New Nissan Magnite are E20 fuel compatible

Nissan Motor India has reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable mobility by confirming that the New Nissan Magnite is fully E20 fuel-compatible, aligning with the Government of India’s green fuel initiatives. The company emphasized that both its powertrains — the 1.0L HR10 turbocharged petrol engine (E20 compliant since August 2024) and the BR10 naturally aspirated petrol engine (E20 compliant since February 2025) — are equipped to run smoothly on E20 fuel.

The New Magnite has already earned recognition for safety with a 5-star GNCAP rating and recently introduced a segment-first 10-year warranty programme, underlining Nissan’s long-term commitment to customers. The company assured that using E20 fuel will not void warranties for vehicles sold after October 2024, or any India-manufactured Nissan cars still under warranty.

In Guwahati, where the automobile market is seeing a gradual transition to greener and more fuel-efficient vehicles, Nissan’s E20 compliance is expected to boost consumer confidence. Dealers in the city anticipate strong demand for the Magnite, citing its combination of affordability, safety, and long-term protection as key drivers in a competitive market. Nissan added that any issues related to E20 fuel usage will be inspected and addressed during routine services, reinforcing its customer-first approach.
