Scindia, described Nagaland as a symbol of diversity and national potential, commending the Hornbill Festival for showcasing the state’s rich culture. During his three-day visit, he will inaugurate various development projects and participate in the festival. Scindia emphasized the central government’s commitment to Northeast development, citing a significant budget allocation of over Rs 1 lakh crore annually. He highlighted the importance of ongoing projects in unlocking the region’s potential and paid homage at the World War II cemetery. His visit includes a traditional stone-pulling ceremony and concludes with a tour of the Heirloom Naga Centre in Dimapur.
