One-Horned Rhino haven welcomes visitors early

The world’s largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses may be found in Assam’s famed Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve, which is getting ready to welcome visitors before the holiday season. Park officials have announced a phased reopening of its tourism zones in an effort to improve the Puja vacation experience for guests. This will provide nature lovers an early opportunity to explore the grandeur of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. We are happy to inform that the Bagori Range (Limited Circuit) of Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve will open on September 26, 2025, to add even more special memories to your Puja celebrations. The second week of October 2025 is when the Kohora Range (Central Range) is anticipated to open.

Elephant Safari: Set to start on November 1, 2025. We cordially encourage everyone to enjoy the holiday season amidst the breathtaking scenery and abundant biodiversity of Kaziranga, Assam’s pride. On Wednesday, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma shared content on social media. Both tourists and local populations, whose livelihoods heavily rely on tourism, have expressed joy at the announcement. Kaziranga provides an exciting and immersive wilderness experience when migratory birds begin to arrive and wildlife activity increases with the end of the monsoon. The public has been told by officials that stringent conservation measures and visitor safety will be implemented, guaranteeing a responsible, safe, and satisfying experience for everyone.
