Renault cuts prices by up to Rs 96,395, passes full GST 2.0 benefit to buyers

Renault India has announced a major price reduction across its portfolio, fully passing on the benefits of GST 2.0 to customers. The revised prices, effective from September 22, 2025, will see cuts of up to ₹96,395, making Renault cars significantly more affordable ahead of the festive season. Customers, however, can book vehicles at the new prices starting immediately. The popular KWID now starts at ₹4.29 lakh, while the Triber and Kiger begin at ₹5.76 lakh. Among the models, Kiger’s top-end variants witnessed the steepest drop of nearly ₹96,000, while Triber variants saw reductions between ₹53,000 and ₹80,000. KWID trims have become cheaper by up to ₹55,000, further strengthening Renault’s entry-level positioning.

VenkatramMamillapalle, MD of Renault India, said, “Passing on the full GST 2.0 benefit is a reflection of our unwavering commitment to our customers. We believe this timely initiative will not only make our cars more accessible but also energize demand during the festive season.”

In Guwahati, a crucial hub for the automobile market in the Northeast, local dealers expect strong festive demand. With competitive pricing and rising interest in compact SUVs, Renault showrooms in the city anticipate increased bookings for the Kiger and Triber, especially from first-time buyers and young professionals.
