Silver jubilee year: Škoda Auto marks 2025 as its most defining year in its India journey so far

Škoda Auto India has closed 2025 with its highest-ever annual sales, delivering 72,665 cars and registering a 107% year-on-year growth over 35,166 units sold in 2024. The milestone comes as the company marks 25 years in India, driven by a strong product portfolio and an expanding network of over 325 customer touchpoints across 183 cities. The Kylaq emerged as a key growth driver, while the Kodiaq, Kushaq and Slavia continued to post steady demand. The return of the Octavia RS further boosted brand excitement, with limited-edition models adding market momentum.

Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, said the company enters 2026 with renewed product and aftersales initiatives, sharper customer focus and deeper market penetration. Škoda also became the first major market globally to complete a 100% corporate identity rebrand and strengthened engagement through campaigns including ‘Fans, Not Owners’, along with cultural collaborations. The company additionally expanded its dealer workforce to over 7,500 people and rolled out extended warranty benefits.

In Guwahati, Škoda is seeing growing traction among new-age buyers seeking European design, reliability and premium features. Expanding touchpoints and enhanced service infrastructure are supporting higher enquiry levels and helping strengthen customer trust in the region.

Škoda Auto India also crossed 200,000 locally produced units since 2021, and aims to sustain growth in 2026 with new launches and broader reach.
