Sony India has expanded its BRAVIA Theatre portfolio with the launch of two new premium sound systems—the BRAVIA Theatre System 6 and BRAVIA Theatre Bar 6—aimed at delivering cinematic surround sound experiences at home. The System 6 is a 5.1ch, 1000W powerhouse with wireless rear speakers, while the Bar 6 is a 3.1.2ch soundbar featuring a wireless subwoofer and upfiring speakers for immersive audio.
Both products support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, with Sony’s Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO Front Surround technology creating rich, theater-like soundscapes. Advanced features like Voice Zoom 3 ensure crystal-clear dialogue, while Night and Voice Modes provide customized listening. The System 6 also includes a Multi Stereo mode for multi-directional audio output.
According to Sunil Nayyar, MD of Sony India, the launch aims to cater to growing consumer demand for high-quality, immersive home entertainment. The products are available from July 1, with prices starting at ₹39,990. In Guwahati, retailers expect the new BRAVIA sound systems to boost premium audio segment sales, especially during the festive season. With increased consumer interest in high-end home setups, the city’s electronics market anticipates strong uptake among tech-savvy and cinema-loving households.
