Tata-Owned Airline Cuts Ticket Price Up To 25%

Tata Group-owned airline Air India has introduced special discounted fares for senior citizens, offering up to 25% off on base ticket prices, as per the airline’s website. These benefits are available for passengers aged 60 and above on both domestic and international flights.

For international travel, Air India is offering up to 10% off on base fares across Economy, Premium Economy, Business, and First Class. Additionally, senior citizens are entitled to one free date change after booking and can carry an extra 10 kg of baggage or one additional piece. To avail these offers, passengers must select the ‘Senior Citizen’ concession category when booking and can combine it with a UPI discount of up to ₹2,000 using the promo code “UPIPROMO”.

On domestic routes, the discount increases to 25% off the base fare. Passengers paying via UPI can also get a minimum of ₹200 off by using the same promo code.

To qualify, travellers must be 60+ and present a valid photo ID with their date of birth. Bookings must be made via Air India’s website, app, ticket offices, or customer care. Standard change and cancellation fees apply.
