Teen Boy Band Outstation set for Guwahati takeover as 10,000+ fans RSVP for ‘Aaj Kal’ launch at Silpagram

Guwahati is set to host one of its biggest youth music events as teen pop boy band OutStation returns to the city on April 4, 2026, to launch their second single ‘Aaj Kal’ at Silpagram. The free-entry event has already seen over 10,000 RSVPs, signalling massive anticipation among fans and marking a notable moment in India’s emerging pop scene.

Organisers expect a large turnout, similar to the band’s previous Guwahati performance in December. The highlight of the evening will be a synchronised crowd sing-along of ‘Aaj Kal’, aimed at creating a record-setting live launch experience. The band said they chose Guwahati for the launch due to the strong response they received earlier. “We want this to be larger than life… we can’t wait to sing it live with thousands of our passengers,” the group said.

The 30-minute set will include their debut track ‘Tum Se’, unreleased songs, and interactive segments. Formed through Visva Records’ talent search, the five-member group is mentored by Grammy-nominated songwriter Savan Kotecha and has performed alongside artists like Akon and Anuv Jain.

In Guwahati, the event reflects the city’s rising importance as a hub for youth-driven live entertainment. Strong early demand indicates growing commercial potential for pop concerts, with brands and organisers increasingly viewing Guwahati as a key market for Gen Z-focused music experiences.
