Toyota Innova HyCross Secures 5-Star Safety Rating Under Bharat NCAP

The Toyota Innova HyCross has achieved a significant milestone by securing a prestigious 5-star safety rating under the Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (Bharat NCAP). The rating, awarded for both adult and child occupant protection, reinforces Toyota Kirloskar Motor’s (TKM) commitment to delivering safe and reliable vehicles for Indian consumers. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari handed over the certificate today in New Delhi to TKM executives Mr. Vikram Gulati and Mr. SudeepDalvi, marking a proud moment for the company. The InnovaHyCross is built on Toyota’s New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform and comes equipped with Toyota Safety Sense (TSS), six airbags, electronic stability controls, and ISOFIX mounts, among other advanced features.

Vice President Varinder Wadhwa emphasized Toyota’s safety-first philosophy, stating, “The 5-star rating assures our customers that they are investing in one of the safest vehicles in India.”

The HyCross has seen rising demand among urban families valuing comfort, safety, and fuel efficiency. Local dealers report increased inquiries following the safety announcement, underlining consumer confidence in Toyota’s brand promise. With over 1.35 lakh units sold since its 2022 launch, the HyCross continues to redefine segment expectations.
