Medanta expands North India footprint; Q2 revenue surges 15% amid strong volume growth

Medanta Global Health Limited (NSE: Medanta) has expanded its footprint with the inauguration of a 550-bed super-specialty hospital in Noida, reinforcing its leadership in the Delhi/NCR region. Operational since September 2025 with 226 beds and 81 ICU beds, the facility has already onboarded 151 doctors and is equipped with advanced medical technology.

For Q2 FY2026, Medanta reported a consolidated total income of INR 11,189 million, marking a 14.8% year-on-year growth and 6.4% sequential rise. EBITDA, excluding Noida, rose 13.7% to INR 2,804 million, while net profit surged 21.1% to INR 1,584 million. Mature hospitals contributed INR 7,200 million in revenue, with developing hospitals excluding Noida posting a 28.3% growth. International patient revenue jumped 48.5% to INR 762 million.

Medanta has secured a 3.5-acre land parcel for approximately INR 600 million. Allotment and possession were completed, and the Bhoomi Poojan was conducted on October 31, 2025, signaling the group’s strategic entry into Assam. The quarter also witnessed operational expansions at Patna, Lucknow, and an upcoming 500–750 bed hospital in Mumbai. Medanta’s Group CEO, Pankaj Sahni, highlighted robust volume growth, with inpatient and outpatient counts rising 12.7% and 14.9% respectively, underscoring strong demand across its network.
