TAFE expands agri-tech footprint with JFarm Rajasthan, targets productivity boost

Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited (TAFE) has strengthened its agri-innovation push with the inauguration of its adaptive research and training centre, JFarm Rajasthan, at Bhawani Mandi on April 2, 2026. The move underscores the company’s focus on enhancing farm productivity and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

The facility was inaugurated by CEO Sandeep Sinha, with opening remarks by Group President (Corporate Relations and Alliances) T. R. Kesavan, in the presence of government representatives, dealer partners and farmers. Designed as an integrated ecosystem, the centre houses a Customer Experience Centre (CEC) for live demonstrations, a Product Training Centre (PTC) for hands-on technical training, and a Farmer Interaction Center focused on knowledge dissemination and modern farming techniques.

The JFarm Rajasthan facility will showcase advancements in agronomy, crop production, protection, processing and mechanisation tailored to Indian conditions. TAFE said the initiative aims to empower farmers with practical insights, supporting a transition towards a more productive and sustainable agricultural ecosystem. Notably, the JFarm and PTC in Rajasthan is a CSR initiative and the third such facility in India, after centres in Chennai and Telangana.

Vice Chairman Lakshmi Venu said the centre reflects TAFE’s commitment to combining domain expertise, technology and sustainability while strengthening farmer partnerships across North India.

In Guwahati, TAFE’s expansion signals rising traction for farm mechanisation and training-led solutions in the Northeast. Market observers note that similar experiential centres could drive higher adoption of tractors and agri-equipment in the Guwahati market, where demand for efficiency and modern farming practices is steadily increasing.
