Speed, Scale, Synchronisation: How HPCL Powers Uninterrupted LPG Supply to Millions of Homes Across India

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) said it has reinforced its LPG distribution network through a strategy focused on speed, scale and synchronisation, enabling the company to deliver over 290 lakh LPG cylinders across India between April 1 and 23, 2026.

The company said its large-scale supply network of bottling plants, distributors and delivery teams helped maintain uninterrupted LPG availability during one of the busiest supply cycles. HPCL supplied more than 6.18 lakh Free Trade LPG cylinders of 5 kg and over 25,000 cylinders of 2 kg during the period, expanding access to affordable cooking fuel solutions.

To meet rising demand, HPCL said it reduced turnaround time at bottling plants, increased dispatch frequency and strengthened last-mile delivery systems. More than 1,77,693 tankers carrying fuel products were dispatched to ensure uninterrupted replenishment across the network. The company added that 99.2 per cent of LPG bookings are now being made through digital platforms, enabling faster allocation and delivery response.

In Guwahati, stable LPG supply remains critical for households and commercial users across Assam and the Northeast. HPCL’s strengthened logistics network and coordinated delivery operations are expected to support uninterrupted cylinder availability in the Guwahati market, especially during periods of rising regional demand.
