RSL Group and Casio have entered into a strategic partnership to strengthen keyboard education in India, combining RSL’s contemporary music education expertise with Casio’s musical instrument portfolio. The collaboration will introduce co-branded learning resources and a nationwide teacher development programme focused on contemporary keyboard and popular music styles.
The initiative will include three physical method books — Beginner Piano Method Book, Beginner Keyboard Method Book and Advanced Keyboard Method Book — along with interactive digital lesson content featuring Casio instruments. The books will be supplied with selected Casio keyboard models, covering learners from beginner to advanced levels through Casio’s Slim & Smart, Standard and Indian series keyboards and premium Digital Piano range.
The partners aim to reach more than 150,000 music enthusiasts and 1,000 music teachers over the next three years. Nationwide teacher workshops will commence in 2026, with RSL trainers from India and the UK conducting sessions on teaching techniques, learner engagement, contemporary repertoire and creativity.
In Dimapur, the city’s inclusion in the workshop programme reflects the partnership’s focus on expanding structured music education beyond major metros. Local educators and learners are expected to gain access to contemporary learning resources, teacher training and Casio’s keyboard ecosystem.
RSL CEO Tim Bennett-Hart, RSL India Country Director Arup Gohain and Casio India Managing Director Takuto Kimura said the partnership would support accessible, engaging and practical music education while helping nurture the next generation of musicians.
