Devotees visiting the revered Maa Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati will be required to book Special Darshan tickets online from June 15, as temple authorities have decided to discontinue offline counter bookings.
According to a public notice issued by the temple management, the upgraded online booking portal for Special Darshan tickets will be opened to the public at 6:00 PM on June 15. From the same date, Special Darshan tickets for both morning and afternoon slots will no longer be available at temple counters.
Devotees have been advised to obtain their tickets through the temple’s official online booking platform. The move comes in response to the increasing number of pilgrims visiting the temple and is expected to streamline the booking process while improving crowd management.
Kamakhya Temple, one of India’s most prominent Shakti Peethas, attracts thousands of devotees throughout the year.
