The two-day Pravasi Prashikshan Varg (residential training camp), conducted across all 336 organisational mandal committees of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Assam Pradesh, concluded on Sunday.
Party sources said that among the more than 40,000 dedicated karyakartas who underwent this comprehensive organisational training, 12,223 were women karyakartas, reaffirming the ever-expanding and dynamic participation of women in the party’s organisational framework.
It is pertinent to mention that the “Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Mahabhiyan”, which commenced on June 15, culminated on July 5.
During this extensive campaign, Assam BJP president Dilip Saikia participated as a resource person in more than 30 mandals, inspiring, motivating, and significantly enhancing the morale and ideological commitment of party karyakartas, a statement issued by the party here on Monday, said.
Meanwhile, the district-level phase of the “Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Mahabhiyan” commenced across all 38 organisational districts of the party from Monday and will continue till July 30.
“The principal objective of this extensive training initiative is to equip party karyakartas with an in-depth understanding of the party’s history, enduring ideology, organisational structure, established working methodology, and institutional responsibilities, thereby nurturing a more disciplined, competent and ideologically committed organisational cadre,” an official communique, issued from the party headquarters here, said.
During the training sessions, eminent and highly experienced party functionaries, serving as resource persons, comprehensively acquainted the participants with the party’s organisational programmes, guiding philosophy, code of discipline, administrative mechanisms, and systematic functioning.
They also held detailed deliberations on the pivotal responsibilities, duties, and constructive role expected of every karyakarta in further consolidating and expanding the organisational strength of the BJP.
“The BJP firmly believes that such intensive capacity-building initiatives will not only reinforce the organisational foundation of the party but will also empower it to emerge as an even more dynamic, resilient, people-centric, and service-oriented political organisation in the years ahead,” a party spokesperson said.
