Sony India has expanded its premium imaging portfolio with the launch of the Alpha 7R VI, a flagship full-frame mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera aimed at professional photographers, filmmakers and content creators. In Guwahati, the launch is expected to further accelerate demand for premium imaging equipment as the city continues to emerge as a major hub for wedding photography, wildlife filmmaking, digital content creation and media production in Northeast India. Professional creators covering destinations such as Kaziranga, Manas and other tourism hotspots are increasingly investing in high-performance cameras capable of delivering superior image quality and advanced video capabilities. Industry observers believe Sony’s latest flagship, supported by its expanding Alpha Community ecosystem, workshops and extended warranty benefits, is well positioned to strengthen the brand’s presence among professionals and serious enthusiasts across the region.
