The National Skill Training Institute for Women (NSTI-W), Noida, under the Directorate General of Training (DGT), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), has commenced admissions for its NCVET-approved, National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF)-aligned programmes under the Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) for the 2026–27 academic session. Interested candidates can apply online through the institute’s admission portal by selecting the CTS Online Registration link. The deadline for submitting applications is July 12, 2026, at 6 pm.
The institute offers industry-oriented training across high-growth sectors, including Artificial Intelligence, Drone Technology, Semiconductor Technology, 5G Networks, Fashion Design, Computer Applications, Computer Aided Embroidery and Designing, Interior Design, Cosmetology and Front Office Operations. Designed to meet evolving industry requirements, the programmes aim to equip women with job-ready skills while enabling them to pursue higher education through their alignment with the NSQF. The initiative supports the government’s Skill India Mission by strengthening India’s skilled workforce and promoting women’s participation in emerging industries.
In Guwahati, the admission drive is expected to benefit students and job seekers from Assam and the Northeast, where demand for specialised technical skills is steadily increasing. As sectors such as electronics, digital services, telecom, fashion and technology expand across the region, access to nationally recognised vocational training could improve employability, bridge industry skill gaps and create a stronger pipeline of qualified professionals for businesses operating in Guwahati and neighbouring markets.
