Mahindra bets on intelligent trucking with BLAZO i-TRK, targets ₹15 lakh profit upside

Mahindra Truck and Bus, part of the Mahindra Group, has launched the BLAZO i-TRK, a new-generation heavy commercial vehicle as it seeks to strengthen its proposition in India’s evolving freight and logistics market. Positioned as “Profit Ka Rocket”, the truck focuses on fuel efficiency, uptime, productivity and connected fleet management. Mahindra said the BLAZO i-TRK can deliver up to 10% better fuel efficiency and has the potential to generate up to ₹15 lakh additional profit per truck over five years. The range is powered by a 7.2-litre, 320 HP mPOWER engine producing 1,100 Nm torque, supported by TurboMAXX and OptiFuel technologies.

A key differentiator is the AI-powered iFuelSmart automatic drive mode, which analyses road gradients, payload and driving conditions to select an optimum operating mode. The company has also introduced an industry-first 48-hour Uptime Guarantee, with eligible customers entitled to ₹10,000 per day if the vehicle is not restored within the committed period. The BLAZO i-TRK features iMAXX 2.0 telematics, including remote AC management, remote vehicle crank inhibit, air-filter and DPF alerts, Distance-to-Empty monitoring, FleetSense reports and ScoreMAXX driver analytics.

The package is complemented by COMFiMAXX suspended seats, EzyCruise, an AC cabin, Bluetooth-enabled entertainment system, Now24x7 digital services and an aerokit-ready design. Vinod Sahay, President–Trucks & Buses and Executive Chairman–SML Mahindra, said the product is aimed at reshaping commercial mobility through technology, reliability and customer partnerships. The range will be offered across variants and applications in three colours.
