Sajjan Jindal, Chairman of JSW Group, has been honored with the prestigious ‘Business Leader of the Decade’ award at the 15th AIMA Managing India Awards, recognizing his leadership in driving JSW’s transformation into a global conglomerate.
The award was presented at a ceremony attended by Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan and Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jitin Prasada. Yezdi Nagporewalla, CEO of KPMG India, read the official citation highlighting Jindal’s contributions.
JSW Group has seen remarkable growth under Jindal’s leadership, doubling its revenues to $24 billion and nearly tripling its annual steel production capacity to 39 million tonnes. The company has expanded its footprint in renewable energy, cement, and infrastructure, becoming India’s second-largest private player in the ports sector. Additionally, JSW has forayed into emerging sectors such as electric vehicles and military drones through global collaborations.
