For the month of July 2025, there is positive news for active traders and investors. Both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) will remain operational on all weekdays throughout July. There are no designated trading holidays scheduled for this month.
Nevertheless, as is customary, the markets will not operate on Saturdays and Sundays. Therefore, in total, trading will be suspended for eight days in July, comprising four Saturdays and four Sundays.

According to the trading holiday schedule published by the NSE, the next official market holiday is set for August 15, 2025, coinciding with the celebration of Independence Day in the country. Following this, trading will also pause on August 27 in observance of Ganesh Chaturthi.

Looking ahead, the stock exchanges will be closed on several other significant dates in 2025, such as Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti on October 2, Diwali Laxmi Pujan on October 21, Balipratipada on October 22, and Prakash Gurpurb Sri Guru Nanak Dev on November 5.
The last market holiday of the year will be Christmas, observed on December 25.
Therefore, if you are considering any trades this July, you may proceed without concern on weekdays. Just remember that the market will observe its regular closure on weekends.
