Canara Robeco AMC hits Assam roads with ‘Nivesh Bus Yatra’ to boost investor awareness

Canara Robeco Asset Management Company Limited (AMC), India’s second-oldest asset management company, has launched its ‘Nivesh Bus Yatra’ in Assam to spread awareness about mutual fund investments. The initiative aims to educate investors across the state, starting from Guwahati and moving through Jorhat, Dibrugarh, and Silchar. The bus will spend three days in Guwahati before proceeding to the other cities, engaging local communities with practical learning sessions, digital tools, and simple demonstrations. The program intends to simplify investing, dispel myths, and encourage residents to adopt long-term financial planning.

Rajnish Narula, Managing Director and CEO of CanaraRobeco AMC, said, “An informed investor makes better decisions, strengthening the financial ecosystem. The Nivesh Bus Yatrabrings financial education directly to communities, helping them embrace long-term investment strategies.”

In Jorhat, the initiative will focus on connecting with traders and residents in busy markets, highlighting how mutual funds can help in financial planning and wealth creation. Local vendors and small investors are expected to benefit from on-the-spot guidance and easy-to-understand demonstrations. Gaurav Goyal, Head of Sales & Marketing, added, “The Nivesh Bus Yatra empowers investors by making financial knowledge practical and accessible. We aim to build confidence and promote a culture of informed investing across Assam.”
