Croma has strengthened its retail presence in Assam with the launch of its fourth store in Guwahati and fifth in the state, underlining its continued expansion in high-growth urban markets. The new 6,202 sq. ft. outlet on Zoo Road is strategically positioned to tap rising demand for consumer electronics in the region.
The store offers an extensive portfolio spanning large appliances, consumer electronics, smartphones, computing devices, and home technology solutions, supported by live demonstrations and expert assistance. The central location is expected to enhance accessibility for a growing base of tech-savvy consumers and working professionals.
To accelerate initial traction, the company has rolled out promotional offers from April 1 to April 30, 2026. These include flat 11% discounts on select ACs, refrigerators, televisions, and washing machines, alongside up to two EMI waivers on select air conditioners. Additionally, bundled offers such as free earphones worth ₹5,999 on select Android smartphones are aimed at boosting conversion rates.
“Guwahati is an important market for us,” said Mayank Sangani, indicating the company’s focus on deepening regional penetration. The store will operate daily between 11:00 AM and 9:00 PM, with offers applicable on select models and subject to stock availability.
