The Framework for Fertiliser Sale application was inaugurated in Kamrup by District Commissioner Deba Kumar Mishra at a conference, marking a significant digital initiative aimed at improving transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the distribution of fertilisers. This application leverages digital technology to streamline the fertiliser distribution process, ensuring better management and oversight in the region.
The platform has engaged over 300 retailers and nearly 80,000 farmers, establishing a technology-driven mechanism for the sale and distribution of fertilisers throughout the district. He encouraged officials to enroll more farmers on the FFS platform to expand access to a transparent and efficient fertilizer distribution system for beneficiaries.
