Godrej Enterprises Group (GEG) has expanded its footprint in India’s fast-growing surveillance market with the launch of a new range of Wi-Fi and 4G-enabled smart security cameras, strengthening its focus on customer-centric and compliant security solutions.
The Security Solutions business of GEG said the new portfolio includes indoor security cameras, outdoor pan-tilt cameras, dome cameras and bullet cameras, designed to offer seamless and reliable surveillance across residential, commercial and institutional segments. The company said the launch marks its next phase of growth in India’s organised surveillance sector, which is increasingly shifting from product-led adoption to experience-driven security solutions.
The Wi-Fi-enabled cameras are aimed at connected homes and businesses, while the 4G-enabled smart and solar cameras are designed for locations with limited or no broadband infrastructure, ensuring uninterrupted monitoring and connectivity.
Commenting on the launch, Pushkar Gokhale, Business Head – Security Solutions, Godrej Enterprises Group, said the CCTV surveillance category in India is at a pivotal stage and is projected to cross Rs 1,000 crore in the coming years. He noted that customers are increasingly seeking intuitive, dependable and secure solutions, while showing a growing preference for trusted India-manufactured products that ensure quality, data security and regulatory compliance.
Manufactured in India and certified under BIS-ER standards, the new portfolio underscores Godrej’s commitment to quality, compliance and customer trust. The company said the launch reflects its transition from standalone products to a connected security ecosystem that combines innovation, engineering excellence and user-friendly design.
In Guwahati, the growing adoption of smart homes, digital businesses and infrastructure projects is creating stronger demand for advanced surveillance solutions. Industry observers believe organised players offering compliant, secure and easy-to-use products are well-positioned to benefit from rising security awareness across Assam and the wider Northeast region.
