Kalyan Jewellers is expanding its presence in Assam with the launch of redesigned showrooms at Lachit Nagar and A.T. Road in Guwahati, as the jewellery retailer seeks to strengthen its footprint in the state’s growing retail market.
The revamped outlets will be inaugurated by Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn on September 23 at 5 pm and 5:45 pm, respectively. The two showrooms will offer contemporary designs and an upgraded shopping experience, taking Kalyan Jewellers’ total presence in Assam to three outlets.
In Guwahati, the expansion comes amid sustained consumer demand for wedding jewellery, traditional designs, diamonds and everyday wear. The company’s wider portfolio is expected to cater to different segments, with collections including Muhurat, Mudhra, Nimah, Glo, Ziah, Anokhi, Apoorva, Antara, Hera, Rang and its recently launched Lila range.
To mark the launch, Kalyan Jewellers is offering 30% off on making charges and zero deduction on old gold exchange, along with its Special Gold Board Rate across showrooms. Ramesh Kalyanaraman, Executive Director, said Assam remains an important market and the redesigned outlets would offer greater convenience, accessibility and value.
The company said all jewellery is BIS-hallmarked and undergoes multiple purity checks. Customers will also receive its 4-Level Assurance Certificate covering purity, lifetime maintenance, product information and transparent exchange and buy-back policies.
