Assam down town University (AdtU) hosted its 13th Convocation Ceremony at its Panikhaiti campus in Guwahati, celebrating the academic achievements of its graduating undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. scholars, including international students from eight countries. Graced by Keshab Mahanta, Assam Minister of Revenue and Disaster Management, Science and Technology, as Chief Guest and Febin M.F., Head of L&T EduTech, as Special Guest, the event marked a key milestone for the institution. A major highlight was the conferment of an honorary Doctor of Letters (D.Litt.) upon Sarat Kumar Jain, CMD of SM Group and Chairman of the Indian Chamber of Commerce, Assam State Council, for his distinguished contributions to business and industry. The university also presented prestigious awards to top student achievers: Pragyan Kalita won the Gold Medal for Best Undergraduate, Juganta Kr. Kalita received the Gold Medal for Best Postgraduate, Subhankar Das was named Best Placement Achiever, and Nawang Dondup received the AdtU Alumni Award for Inspiring Achievement.
