Nagaland Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio expressed hope for positive consideration from the Government of India regarding the Frontier Nagaland Territory (FNT) demand during the International Hornbill Festival, Mon Edition 2025. He announced that the final draft of the FNT proposal has been submitted to the Centre and encouraged the Konyak community to use the heritage complex for cultural preservation. The festival showcased cultural performances, indigenous games, and included several dignitaries. The event’s theme was “Cultural Connect,” emphasizing the government’s commitment to Konyak identity and heritage.
